Duties

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and transactions.
  • Handle cash and process payments accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist with food presentation and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Support kitchen operations as needed, including basic food preparation and sanitation tasks.

Skills

  • Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and excellent communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations.
  • Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment with a positive attitude.
