Front Desk Reception and Admin Assistant

Atlas Scaffolding is a shoring, formwork and scaffold supply company located in Surrey, serving BC's construction and building industry since 1996. We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual who wants to work as a member of our team as a first point of contact for our company.
The ideal candidate will provide a welcoming atmosphere for all our customers, prospective customers and visitors, both via telephone and in person. They will also be able to maintain the front desk and reception area while providing assistance to the accounts receivable team.

Job Duties:
- Answer the phone and direct calls accurately using a multi-line system.
- Greet, assist and/or direct customers/visitors.
- Manage courier and vendor accounts.
- Accept and distribute mail.
- Process payments.
- Monitor company email account.
- Maintain an organized and efficient office environment.
- Provide data entry support to accounting.
- Provide general admin support to the team.
- Manage some accounts with the accounts receivable team
Qualifications and experience:
- High school diploma - required.
- Post-secondary education – as asset but not required
- Accounts Receivables experience - required
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with a multi-line phone system, including transferring calls - required
- General accounting knowledge - an asset
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
