Front Desk / Administrative Assistant - Full-Time
Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Patient reception and communication: Greet and register patients in a professional and courteous manner; provide information regarding clinic procedures and appointments.
- Appointment scheduling and coordination: Book, confirm, and adjust appointments; manage daily clinic flow to optimize physician and patient schedules. Proficiency in Accuro EMR is required.
- Referrals and documentation: Prepare and process referrals to specialists and primary care providers; upload and distribute consult notes and related medical correspondence.
- Administrative support: Maintain organized electronic and paper records, scan and file patient documentation, and ensure data integrity within the EMR system.
- Billing support: Assist with MSP and private billing data entry, verification, and reconciliation as directed.
**Qualifications**:
- Completion of a Medical Office Assistant (MOA) or Medical Administrative Assistant certificate program
- Minimum one year of front-desk or administrative experience in a medical or allied health setting
- Working knowledge of medical referral workflows, clinical documentation standards, and privacy/confidentiality requirements (PIPA/PHIA)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
