We are seeking a temporary Convention Support Staff to join our team over a period of 2 days (November 21 - evening and November 22 - Daytime). This role is essential in providing support to our operations and ensuring a positive experience for customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and French speaking ability (French/English Bilingual)

Responsibilities

  • Engage in sales activities at the convention, effectively promoting products and services while delivering exceptional customer service to enhance the overall attendee experience.
  • Coordinate the setup and breakdown of the convention booth, ensuring an organized and visually appealing display that aligns with company branding and standards.
  • Manage the loading and unloading of merchandise and equipment, maintaining efficiency and safety in handling convention materials.
  • Provide comprehensive support to the manager, assisting with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations and a successful event.

Experience

  • No previous experience is necessary
  • Experience in a retail or sales environment is an asset
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members
  • Familiarity with Square is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently and stand for long periods of time.

Nous recherchons un(e) membre temporaire du personnel de soutien pour une convention pour rejoindre notre équipe pendant une période de 2 jours (21 novembre – soirée et 22 novembre – journée). Ce rôle est essentiel pour soutenir nos opérations et assurer une expérience positive aux clients. Le candidat idéal possédera de solides compétences interpersonnelles, une grande attention aux détails et la capacité de parler français (bilingue français/anglais).

Responsabilités

  • Participer aux activités de vente lors de la convention en promouvant efficacement les produits et services, tout en offrant un service client exceptionnel pour améliorer l'expérience des participants.
  • Coordonner l'installation et le démontage du stand de la convention, en veillant à ce que l'affichage soit organisé et attrayant, tout en respectant les normes et l'image de marque de l'entreprise.
  • Gérer le chargement et le déchargement des marchandises et de l'équipement, en assurant une manipulation efficace et sécurisée des matériaux de la convention.
  • Apporter un soutien complet au gestionnaire, en aidant à diverses tâches pour garantir le bon déroulement de l'événement.

Expérience

  • Aucune expérience préalable requise.
  • Une expérience en vente ou en commerce de détail est un atout.
  • La maîtrise du français et de l'anglais
  • Excellentes compétences en communication, avec la capacité d'interagir efficacement avec les clients et les membres de l'équipe.
  • Une connaissance de Square est un plus.
  • Capacité à soulever jusqu'à 50 lb (22 kg) de façon régulière et à rester debout pendant de longues périodes.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $21.00 per hour
