This Role In Summary
Whirlpool is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Territory Manager.
The Central sales team is responsible for selling products and services to a wide range of highly complex or major accounts and customers and execution of sales plans, targets and budgets within the overall regional and business unit sales strategy. Accountable for increasing sales/client ratio and expanding customer base.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Partner with other stakeholders to develop merchandising and promotional programs
- Ensure flawless execution of merchandising, advertising, and trade program plans from the buying center office down to the retail floor
- Work directly with senior buyers, owners and merchandisers of large accounts
- Present and coordinate merchandising programs and promotions and provide training for retail sales associates
- Develop account base and growth opportunities
- Achieve sales targets for the territory
- Prepare and maintain a business and profit plan through the strategic customer management process
- Manage established promotional and merchandising program budgets
- Travel (up to 50%) and work occasional evenings/weekends as necessary
Minimum Requirements
- Associate's Degree
- 3+ years experience in Sales, Marketing or Account Management
Preferred Skills And Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in Business
- 3 to 5 years of previous strategic sales and/or marketing experience
- Experience in business negotiations
- Experience measuring against P&L
- Experience in developing growth initiatives and execution with business partners
- Experience working with Google Suite, Tableau, Anaplan Excel
