We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment in accordance with health standards
- Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Support the serving staff during meal service as needed
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware promptly and efficiently
- Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Ensure proper waste disposal and maintain sanitation standards throughout the kitchen
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Experience in restaurant or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Basic cooking and food preparation skills
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Previous hotel or food service experience is a plus
- Hospitality-oriented attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.85-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
