Nextgen Systems Canada is looking to hire a skilled and customer-focused Full-Time Alarm Technician to join our growing telecommunications services team in Greater Toronto Area, including Markham, Oshawa, Scarborough, Mississauga, North York, ON and surrounding regions.

Full training provided

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, service, and maintain residential and commercial alarm systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair security systems, cameras, and related components
  • Perform system upgrades and ensure all installations meet company standards
  • Test systems for proper operation and verify signal transmission
  • Provide excellent customer service and on-site technical assistance
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma or certification in Telecommunications, Electronics, IT, or related field (an asset)
  • Prior experience as an Alarm or Security System Technician preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer interaction skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Reliable white-colored vehicle
  • Basic tools
  • Valid Class-5 driver's license
  • Clear Criminal Background check
  • Strong attention to detail and customer-oriented attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $33.00 per hour
