We are looking for a Technical Writer to support our gate and perimeter security products.
You'll work closely with CAD, Service, Project Management, Operations, and Manufacturing to create clear, accurate technical documentation. This role requires strong technical writing skills and the ability to read and understand CAD drawings.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and validate technical information
- Participate in reviews to ensure documentation reflects real-world processes
- Manage document revisions, version control, and change tracking
- Ensure documentation accuracy across updates and revisions
- Create and coordinate diagrams, markups, and visual references to support written content
- Collaborate with CAD or design teams to ensure drawings and documentation align
- Review content for clarity, accuracy and consistency
- Maintain documentation standards and templates
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience writing technical and business-oriented documentation
- 5+ years of experience with document layout software (Adobe InDesign preferred or equivalent)
- Ability to understand CAD drawings and technical specifications
- Strong attention to detail and clear written communication skills
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments would be an asset
