This position reports to the Supervisor of the Assistant Project Management team and will work closely with their Project Managers and site teams.

This position is an office position and report to our Head Office located in Orleans, ON.

This individual plays a crucial part in our construction projects, and are the main office contact for our Site Foremen and all project stakeholders.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES are but not limited to:

  • Create PO's for daily material requests/credits for project sites
  • Send orders to Suppliers
  • Support Purchasing department by releasing equipment/fixtures in accounting software
  • Liaise with Project Managers, Contractors, Sub-Contractors Vendors, Suppliers, and other applicable staff
  • Track Shop Drawings with General Contractors/Engineers
  • Work in various Software's to ensure all projects are up to date with drawings, specs, and addendums
  • Create logs in Smartsheet to share metrics and information with company and Suppliers
  • Ad-hoc projects
  • Schedule, coordinate, liaise with clients
  • Coordinate daily with several trades
  • Material & delivery coordination
  • Allocate job scope and coordinate the project documents
  • Liaise with senior management, admins and construction teams

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Bilingualism is required (French and English)
  • 1 year of relevant experience
  • Proficient in creating interactive spreadsheets for project reporting/logging
  • Must be open to creating new Project tracking sheets
  • Excellent Communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Must be well organized and strong multi-tasking skills
  • Must be a positive Team Player
  • Must have an eagerness to learn
  • Must be open minded to new ideas
