Reporting to the Controller, we are seeking an Accountant. You either are a recent CPA or have a minimum of three years of accounting experience, preferably in the Construction Industry. You must have superior verbal and written communication skills and be able to multi-task in a dynamic work environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel & Word is essential. Experience with Sage Accounting software is a definite asset.

Duties

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Input payroll timecards and credit card receipts.
  • Maintain accurate digital and hard copy filing systems.
  • Utilize accounting software Sage, and other relevant tools for bookkeeping and financial management.
  • Monitor office supplies and replenish as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers with job costing details and preparation of change orders.

Assets for your Application

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles.
  • Proficiency in Sage accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
