What You Can Expect When Joining The Team
You will act as a program manager, responsible for the management and success of the projects and programs assigned to you. Reporting to the Director of Professional Services, you will act as a resource person between the clinical, deployment, product, and technical teams to ensure the smooth integration of our technology solutions into our clients' professional practices. You will be responsible for deliverables and will ensure the smooth running of each stage of project and program implementation.
Your daily life
In your day to day, you will be led to:
- Define, communicate, and maintain a clear and consistent vision of the strategic objectives of the project/program, ensuring that they are aligned with organizational priorities;
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the entire life cycle of the projects that make up the program, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders;
- Identify human and material resource requirements, develop timelines, and estimate the costs of project/program activities under your responsibility;
- Establish and communicate clear priorities among project activities to teams.
- Ensure effective program governance by representing issues and progress to management and facilitating strategic decision-making;
- Work with representatives from different departments to oversee project documentation and update relevant knowledge bases.
- Take the initiative to determine changes to the scope of work and ensure that relevant planning measures are taken with internal and external clients to reassess and modify the scope of work, budget, and schedule.
- Analyze client or user requests and needs, and lead the design of coordinated solutions in collaboration with functional teams.
- Monitor and evaluate overall program performance using key performance indicators (KPIs), produce progress reports, and recommend optimization actions as needed;
- Act as a point of contact to ensure constant communication, active listening, and understanding of customer needs;
- Coordinate project/program resources; engage and mobilize people to carry out planned tasks and proactively manage activities;
- Understand business issues, identify needs, and propose strategies to increase the added value of projects.
Job requirements
Your profile
Are you an experienced program or project manager, recognized for your ability to navigate complex environments with pragmatism, agility, and strategic vision? Are you looking for an opportunity where you can combine your passion for technological innovation, value creation, and operational excellence? If you have:
- 5 to 8 years of experience in project management and program management, including a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing complex technology projects;
- University degree. Any relevant experience may be considered;
- Knowledge of key project management tools (Smartsheet, an asset);
- Knowledge of budgeting and scheduling techniques;
- Proven experience in coordinating multiple teams and interdependent projects, with the ability to manage competing priorities;
- Strong strategic and decision-making skills, with accountability for overall program results;
- Motivational leadership, focused on cross-functional collaboration and the achievement of common goals;
- Strong organizational skills and proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously;
- High level of rigor, autonomy, and a proactive approach to problem solving;
- Openness to change and a developed ability to adapt;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills;
- Relevant experience in the medical or hospital environment (major asset);
- PMP certification or a master's degree in project management (asset);
- Since you will be interacting with various colleagues, some of whom are English or French-speaking only, proficiency in both English and French (spoken, written, and read) is mandatory.
