Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Payroll Specialist, located in Montreal, QC. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the accurate and timely administration of payroll, including processing employee paychecks, handling garnishments, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Other responsibilities include managing payroll services, addressing inquiries, and working collaboratively with internal teams to resolve payroll-related issues.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Payroll Administration and Payroll Processing
  • Experience with handling Garnishments and Payroll Services
  • Familiarity with Payroll Taxes and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in payroll software systems
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Payroll Compliance Practitioner) are an asset
  • Previous experience in accounting or finance is a plus
