Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Modular and Site Built Residential Construction Manager and lead the successful delivery of high-quality residential projects from inception to completion. This energetic role demands a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, coordinating multiple teams and resources to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. As a key driver of project success, you will oversee all aspects of construction management, foster strong client relationships, and uphold safety and quality standards across all phases of residential development.

Duties

  • Lead and manage residential construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
  • Coordinate project activities across various teams including subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and workflow.
  • Develop detailed project schedules using construction management software such as Buildertrend to monitor progress and adjust plans proactively.
  • Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation on-site.
  • Oversee construction site operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage contracts with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring all terms are met and work is performed to specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections
  • Facilitate project meetings focusing on progress updates, risk mitigation, and problem-solving strategies.
  • Monitor project timelines through effective project scheduling techniques while managing scope changes diligently.
  • Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and stored properly for future reference or audits.
  • Promote a safety-first culture by implementing safety protocols and conducting regular site safety audits.

Skills

  • Extensive experience in residential construction management with proven ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings relevant to residential building projects.
  • Skilled in construction estimating processes with the ability to prepare accurate cost forecasts.
  • Exceptional time management abilities coupled with strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Effective communication skills for clear coordination among diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical documents thoroughly for precise execution of plans.
  • Experience with construction site operations including safety compliance and environmental considerations.
