Professional Staffing has partnered with an organization servicing the Construction Industry in South Edmonton for a 2-4 month contract Accountant position.

This is a standalone temporary Accountant position located ON - site 5 days a week. The Accountant will be reporting to the GM responsible for preparing month end for the external CPA, AP and Payroll.

Responsibilities

  • Month end close
  • Full cycle accounting - including Accounts Payable, Receivable, Invoicing, Journal Entries
  • Payroll and Benefits for up to 100 employees
  • Job Costing and Progress Billing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting
  • 2+ years in the Construction, O&G or Engineering field
  • 1+ years of Progress Billing and/or job costing
  • 3+ years of full cycle accounting
  • Available immediately
  • Experience with Accounting Systems such as Quickbooks Online, or Sage 50
