Position Overview

We are seeking a Level 2 or 3 Early Childhood Educator with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our dedicated teaching team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Reggio Emilia-inspired practices, be confident in leading a classroom, skilled at designing and implementing emergent curriculum, and passionate about mentoring other educators.

Responsibilities

  • Lead classroom programming aligned with developmental and learning goals.
  • Observe, document, and assess children's progress and share insights with families.
  • Create and maintain an engaging, organized, and safe learning environment.
  • Mentor and guide team members in best practices for early childhood education.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Maintain accurate administrative records, including attendance and incident reports.
  • Communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate in planning meetings, professional development, and school events.

Requirements

  • ECE Level 2 or 3 certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of classroom experience in early childhood education.
  • Knowledge and experience with the Reggio Emilia approach or other play-based, child-led pedagogies.
  • Strong knowledge of child development and early learning frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Check clearance.

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
