Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Specialist. The role is based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, but some work from home is acceptable. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for generating leads, conducting market research, analyzing market trends, and providing excellent customer service. Day-to-day tasks will include building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying business opportunities, and driving growth.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the construction or surveying industry.
  • Proficiency in Lead Generation and identifying business opportunities
  • Outgoing and confident in inbound/outbound phone sales with great phone etiquettes.
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Strong Analytical Skills and capability to perform Market Research
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • High level of organizational and time management skills
  • Understanding of surveying practices, including but not limited to, topographic surveys, construction staking, as-built surveys, and BIM practices.
  • Degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., construction management, engineering, business) is an asset.
