Levac Supply Ltd. is a family-owned business that is a leading provider of industrial products, safety supplies, equipment, outsourced services, safety consulting and training. The company, founded in 1965, remains committed to serving Eastern Ontario's small, medium, and large businesses, institutions and all levels of government. We are seeking a candidate to join our dynamic Client-Care Team who will work Monday to Friday in our Kingston Branch.
The Inside Sales / Customer Service role will be part of the account team supporting Outside Sales Representatives and Vendor Managed Inventory Specialists. This role will focus on delivering high level customer service to existing customers and creating new opportunities.
Role Focus:
- Assisting
Outside Sales Representatives & Vendor Managed Inventory Specialists with quotations, order processing and field support as needed; - Responding
to
phone calls and emails from customers, directing inquiries and supporting colleagues with customer requests; - Preparing
proposals and quotes that address the customer requirements; - Participating
in external field work such as Vendor Management Inventory service calls and sales meetings; - Coordinating
product orders and delivery to meet client priorities and expectations; - Providing
support in sourcing new or alternate products; - Communicating
promotions via telephone calls, email and social media to specific market segments; - Following
and
supporting
established procedures to ensure consistent accuracy; - Demonstrating
a positive attitude that supports our company values.
Qualifications and Experience:
Levac Supply Ltd. and our valued clients require an industry professional who is a team player with:
- High School Diploma and an understanding of industrial products OR applied industry knowledge from working with brands and products that Levac Supply represents;
- Minimum 2 years Industrial Sales or Order Desk experience is required;
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel;
- Established interpersonal communication skills (telephone, email, face-to-face and listening) that will develop strong relationships with customers and work colleagues;
- A positive attitude and commitment to service, life-long learning, and expanding product knowledge;
- Ability to lift 50 pounds;
- Post-secondary education in marketing, business, or engineering would be an asset;
- A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
