Skills and Responsibilities:

• Power BI developers need to create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI, transforming data into actionable insights for business stakeholders.

• They also analyze data, design data models, and collaborate with other teams to ensure data accuracy and efficient BI solutions. Here's a more detailed breakdown of the roles and responsibilities.

• Design and build data models that effectively represent business requirements and facilitate data analysis.

• Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI, ensuring data is presented in a clear and understandable format. Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights, and then visualize these findings in a way that is easy to understand and act upon.

• Integrate data from various sources into Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

• Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate those needs into technical specifications for Power BI solutions.

• Troubleshoot issues in Power BI reports and dashboards and provide ongoing maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance.

• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

• Provide training to end-users on how to use Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and o ther stakeholders to ensure that Power BI solutions meet business needs.

• Document data models, reports, and dashboards to ensure that they are well-maintained and easy to understand.

• Use DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to create calculated columns and measures in Power BI.
