Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours (Afternoons): 2:15pm - 11:30pm (flexibility as needed), Monday - Friday, Weekends as needed
Work Location: Onsite (Milton, ON)
Hourly Rate: $19.57
 
What You'll Be Doing:

Coordinate parts and people with Shift Leader to set up lines to meet production start times.
Run and set up various processing lines, but not all.
Knowledge of how to set up a complete sideline.
Knowledge of how each line operates.
Understanding of V-mag settings.
Timely and accurately load trolleys.
Basic knowledge of how to troubleshoot and maintain the efficient mechanical function of basic machinery operation.
Ensure food and personal safety hazards are corrected quickly and effectively to meet company and legislative requirements.
Maintain the flow of production and assist production employees when necessary.
Train General Labourers on tasks.
Promptly resolve and follow-through on issues and escalate when required.
Other tasks as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
2-3 years of Food Manufacturing experience.
Strong attention to detail.
Collaborative work style.
Excellent communication skills.

Bonus Points If You Have:

Dessert Manufacturing Facility or Bakery experience.
Strong BRC (or similar GFSI) knowledge or experience.
Strong knowledge of WHMIS, Chemical Handling, HACCP, GMP, OHSA and regulatory requirements.
