Our client is seeking a reliable and detail -oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment, utilizing various warehouse equipment and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes, heavy equipment operation, and materials handling to ensure efficient and safe order fulfillment.DutiesEfficiently pick orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accuracyOperate heavy equipment such as RAYMOND REACH forklifts, MUST BE CERTIFIEDLoad and unload materials using appropriate equipment, including heavy lifting techniquesAssist with shipping & receiving tasks, ensuring proper documentation and inventory controlMaintain safety standards during all operations, adhering to OSHA regulations and mechanical knowledge requirementsUse mechanical skills to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance when necessarySupport warehouse management with inventory organization and space optimizationFollow safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and materials handlingRequirementsExperience2 plus years of Previous warehouse distribution or shipping & receiving experience preferredExperience operating heavy equipment such as Raymond Reach Forklifts and RF Scanner.Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners is advantageousPrior experience with order picking, load & unload procedures, and materials handling in construction or industrial environments is beneficialFamiliarity with OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations is preferredWarehouse supervisor experience or construction background can be a plus for leadership roles within the team.This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic warehouse environment where safety, efficiency, and accuracy are prioritized.
