7.5 hours per shift (subject to change)

WAGE RANGE:

CUPE12 $27.18/hr $28.95/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The receiving, storing, rotating, counting, transporting, resupplying, maintaining and issuing of supplies while accurately documenting activities as per set policies.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 education
  • Minimum 1 year experience in materials management in a medical stores or warehouse/shipping and receiving environment. Experience within the last three years
  • Knowledge of materials management functions in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to ship, receive, count, pick and pack orders with speed and accuracy
  • Proficiency in oral and written communications in English
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ablility to work independently and as part of a team
  • Moderate computer skills and ablility to effectively operate materials management software
  • Provision of his/her own safety footwear as per Safety Policies
  • Electric Pallet Jack License

PREFERRED:

  • Experience with Meditech Materials Management software or other MMIS/ERP/MRP Materials Management systems
  • Materials Management certification/related course from an accredited college
  • Previous experience in materials management in a hospital stores environment
  • Understanding of the complete supply chain cycle
  • Experience with a carousel system
  • Competency with Microsoft Windows, Office, Internet Explorer
  • Experience using mobile scanning devices
