Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Finance Officer to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support the company's growth and stability. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively. The Finance Officer will play a key role in ensuring sound financial management and compliance with relevant regulations.

Duties

  • Develop and oversee financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to align with organizational goals.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor financial performance by analyzing variances and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with departments to support financial decision-making processes.
  • Manage cash flow, investments, and banking relationships to optimize financial resources.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate financial risks.
  • Lead audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure transparency and accuracy in financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial management or similar roles within a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance standards related to finance.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
