CNC Machinist

We're looking for a CNC Machinist / PowerMill Programmer who's ready to advance their skills and take on complex, high-precision work.

We are hiring a CNC Machinist / PowerMill Programmer to run and program our Awea LP-4025 bridge mill with a 90° head (Fanuc controller).
You will machine small- to mid-size plates, weldments, and castings, handle complete setups, and create PowerMill programs.

• Program 3-axis and positional 5-axis toolpaths in Autodesk PowerMill

• Set up and operate the Awea LP-4025 (Fanuc control + 90° head)

• Machine plates, weldments, and castings with high accuracy

• Create fixturing and setup plans for multi-face machining

• Select tooling and optimize feeds/speeds

• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other tools

• Troubleshoot machining or programming issues

• 3–5+ years CNC machining experience (bridge mill or boring mill preferred)

• Powermill programming experience required

• Strong understanding of Fanuc controllers

• Ability to set up and machine small to mid-size workpieces

• Experience machining weldments and castings

• Ability to read and understand GD&T drawings

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Experience using a 90° head

• Background in fabrication or weldments
