**General Machinist 1**

**SKILLED TRADES**

Industrious and detail-oriented are a few of the qualities that you will bring with you as a highly skilled GM 1. Applicants must have a certificate of qualification or have at least 3 years experience in areas covered by an apprenticeship within this skilled trade. Aerospace and experience with Lean Manufacturing is an asset.

**General Machinist 1**

Number of positions: 1

Machine Time: 3 years and up
- This job is located in Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.
- Excellent blueprint reading ability including thorough understanding of geometric, dimension and tolerancing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Fully capable of all aspects of general machining
- Excellent CNC lathe capabilities
- Experience with Mazatrol Smart Control, Fanuc Series 18T, Okuma OSP-U100L
- Fully capable of machine cycle and tool optimization
- Capable of completing complex machine set-ups in time allotted

**Ability to work without supervision**
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- A combination of 3 - 5 years of work experience in the trade
- English (Written and Spoken) required.
- Require Criminal Record Check.

**Additional information**
- Full
- time, permanent position.
- Must be willing and able to work rotating weekday shifts and or Steady weekends with overtime weekly as required.
- Paid over time after 40 hours worked.
