Job Description:

Experience: 12 + Years in Network Security, Routing & Switching, Wireless LAN Technology


Should be a Certified Network Security Professional with CCNA and CCNP certified (in depth knowledge of


Routing & Switching), Wireless LAN technology with minimum 7+ years of work experience.


Thorough Knowledge on VLAN, VPN, IP Sec tunnel configurations with troubleshooting skill.

Thorough Knowledge on SDWAN (Silverpeak / Meraki) configurations with troubleshooting skill.

Wide practical knowledge on Major Network Security Platforms, LAN / WAN (routing protocols – OSPF,


BGP, EiGRP) and Wireless Devices. (Majorly on Cisco products)


Troubleshooting skill on the above-mentioned technology / products is a must.

Good communication skill & email writing efficiency.

ITIL Process understanding, Service Now Ticketing tool.

Should be able to work under job pressure & prioritize the Incidents / Service Tasks depend on the severity.

Network Security Architectural knowledge with ability to design based on customer requirement.

Need to coordinate with OEM / Carriers / HCL internal L2/L3 team for any technical escalations for the call


closure as per the agreed SLA with customer.


Risk assessment before any Change Implementation and documentation of Change Task to be discussed in


CAB meetings.


Proof of Concept for new network devices in coordination with customer network team. Should be able to


recommend various options of Network Security.


Should be able to make the Network Security documents / diagrams as per customer requirement.

Should be able to technically challenge the OEM / Carriers related to Network Security / Vulnerability in the


customer network.


Should be able to propose new Innovations or Service Improve Plan on existing Network Infrastructure to


enhance performance.


Should be able to work on Network Security Project Related activities based on the Client Requirement and


need to provide the technical solution.


Should work on shifts and On Call support on weekends.
