The Cam Clark Auto Group is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales Consultant for our Cam Clark Ford location in Canmore, AB.

With over 20 dealerships and car service locations stretching across Alberta, British Columbia, Washington, Montana, and California; the Cam Clark Auto Group is an industry leader in providing outstanding customer experience since 1987, while also striving to offer an amazing employee experience

In the position of Sales Consultant reporting to the Sales Managers, you will be responsible for selling one of the most talked-about and reliable vehicles on the market and providing superior customer service to our clients.

You will be accountable for:

  • Understanding the features and benefits of all vehicles that are available for purchase while being able to effectively communicate this information to our customers.
  • Converting showroom visitors into customers by understanding their needs and interests and matching them to the most appropriate car.
  • Taking customers on test drives and demonstrating vehicle features.
  • Building a rapport with potential customers to improve the possibility of a sale in the future.
  • Collaborating with team members to reach sales targets.
  • Assisting customers with completing the relevant paperwork required for a successful sale to be processed.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including sales reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documentation.
  • Building and maintaining ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and research.
  • Using customer relation management (CRM) software tools to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Building and fostering a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Generating and developing new customer accounts.
  • Maintaining professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Your High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
  • A Valid Driver's license with a clean Driver's Abstract.
  • A valid AMVIC license or can obtain your AMVIC license.
  • No prior experience is required, and we are committed to providing training to the ideal candidate.
  • The ability to work both in a team environment and on your own.
