We are seeking a
Research & Development (R&D) Specialist
with a strong background in
bakery and food manufacturing
to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a technically skilled, creative professional who thrives in a hands-on production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and optimize bakery formulations (bread, buns, pastries, and related products)
  • Support commercialization and scale-up from bench trials to full production
  • Improve existing products for quality, shelf life, cost optimization, and consistency
  • Collaborate closely with Production, QA, and Operations teams
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and quality standards
  • Document formulations, trials, and process improvements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree or diploma in Food Science, Baking Science, or a related field
  • 10+ years of R&D experience in bakery or food manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of ingredients, dough systems, and bakery processes
  • Experience conducting plant trials and production-scale testing
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and food safety requirements
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and solution-oriented mindset
