What we'll love about you:

  • Previous experience as a surveyor.
  • Registered member of OACETT is an asset.
  • Experience with Scanning, Autocad, Tekla, Realworks, and Trimble Connect is an asset.
  • Experience with Trimble Robotic Total Station, Trimble Fieldlink or Trimble Access is required.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Safety conscious and adhere to safety processes and policies.
  • Other qualifications may be required.

What you'll work on:

As a Surveyor at Steelcon, you will apply your experience to assist our field teams in the successful delivery of projects. You will have an overall responsibility for the collection of quality data to communicate the status of anchor bolt as-builts, column plumb and elevator shaft analysis, foundation wall clash analysis, etc., as well as providing layout of reference lines field crews.

Skills and experience in:

Time-management, detail oriented, organizational skills, optimization; measurements, surveyor records, self-starter, global positioning system, geographic information systems, fast paced environment, risk-management, survey science, geomatics technology, Association of Canada Lands Surveyors (ACLS), construction, general contractor.
