Responsibilities:
During your placement, you will have the opportunity to:
Support the annual update of the Financial Condition Testing (FCT) and Economic Capital
Contribute to the successful completion of Quarterly Reserve Reviews by streamlining processes, ensuring accuracy, and enhancing overall efficiency
Help with the production of the Appointed Actuary Report (AAR)
Participate in the financial loss planning
Assist with data pull, preparation, and ad-hoc requests.
Provide actuarial support to team members
Required Skills:
We are looking for a student who is:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related fields.
- Proficient in Excel. SAS experience is an asset
- Pursuing an actuarial designation through the CAS or CIA
