This role is currently remote.
Responsibilities:
During your placement, you will have the opportunity to:
- Support the annual update of the Financial Condition Testing (FCT) and Economic Capital
- Contribute to the successful completion of Quarterly Reserve Reviews by streamlining processes, ensuring accuracy, and enhancing overall efficiency
- Help with the production of the Appointed Actuary Report (AAR)
- Participate in the financial loss planning
- Assist with data pull, preparation, and ad-hoc requests.
- Provide actuarial support to team members
Required Skills:
We are looking for a student who is:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related fields.
- Proficient in Excel. SAS experience is an asset
- Pursuing an actuarial designation through the CAS or CIA
