We're looking for a Staff Product Designer to help shape the future of legal tech and push the boundaries of how AI can serve those seeking justice. In this role, you'll lead complex, high-impact initiatives from concept to launch—designing scalable solutions that power critical legal workflows and equip personal injury attorneys with the tools they need to advocate effectively for their clients. You'll partner with engineering, product, and AI/ML teams to drive strategy and bring clarity to ambiguous problem spaces.

This is a high-leverage opportunity to influence foundational architecture, champion design excellence, and define what great looks like in a technically sophisticated, mission-driven environment. You'll report to the Head of Design and collaborate with a growing team of kind, sharp, and ambitious designers who care deeply about impact and craft.

This is a hybrid role with the expectation of working at least 3 days a week from one of our office hubs. Job title and level to be determined based on candidate's background and interview performance.
What you'll do:

  • Take ownership of the design process for a product area, from product direction to user flows and interaction design.
  • Understand internal and external user needs through user research and usability testing; leverage user insights to design powerful, efficient, and delightful products and features.
  • Create high-fidelity designs and prototypes for cutting-edge AI-powered solutions that address complex user challenges and scale across platforms.
  • Collaborate with highly-skilled engineers, product managers, data scientists, machine learning researchers, and others to ship high-quality features, with high velocity.
  • Use your expertise to shape and influence the broader product and design strategies.
  • Mentor and elevate the design craft of the team, fostering growth and maintaining high standards in design thinking and execution.

What we look for:

  • At least 8 years of experience in software product design
  • Experience building workflow products for specialized power users in a B2B environment
  • Experience building interfaces for AI products
  • Experience creating and scaling design systems
  • Deep expertise in Figma, specifically tooling for component libraries, system documentation, and cross-functional adoption
  • Excellent qualitative user research skills
  • Strong writing ability
  • Execution mindset; ability to set and meet deadlines
  • Startup experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
