Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing insightful reports, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. This role requires a strong foundation in data analysis tools and methodologies, with an emphasis on delivering actionable business insights. The Data Analyst will collaborate across departments to ensure data integrity and optimize data-driven solutions that enhance organizational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using advanced data analysis skills and tools such as R, Python, SQL, and Oracle.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations utilizing Tableau, Power BI, and Visio to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Design and maintain databases, ensuring optimal database design and integration with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Support project management activities within Agile frameworks and SDLC methodologies to ensure timely delivery of analytics projects.
  • Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Write complex queries using SQL and Bash (Unix shell) scripting to automate data extraction and processing tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Document processes, workflows, and system designs to support ongoing maintenance and enhancements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data analysis with strong proficiency in SQL, R, Python, and database management systems such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Expertise in visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, and Visio.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC processes, project management principles, and Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of database design principles and experience working with large datasets.
  • Familiarity with VBA for automation tasks is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets into meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.64-$73.86 per hour
