Job Summary:

Our client is looking for a Shipper/Receiver to support operations through efficient handling of inbound and outbound shipments. Responsibilities include verifying, packing, and shipping orders accurately, as well as receiving and inspecting incoming materials for quality and quantity compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while upholding safety and efficiency standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.
  • Unload packages, check for damages or discrepancies, and promptly report issues to the Logistics Manager.
  • Prepare and pack outgoing shipments according to specifications, ensuring accuracy in quantities and items.
  • Use company software for inventory tracking and maintain shipment records.
  • Organize warehouse space, ensuring cleanliness for efficient material storage and handling.
  • Coordinate material deliveries with procurement and production teams to ensure timely availability.
  • Assist in inventory control through cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and maintaining accuracy.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven experience in a Shipper/Receiver role within manufacturing or warehouse environments.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office Suite).
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate within a team.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or supply chain management preferred.
  • Prior experience in warehouse operations preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout shifts.
  • Comfort working in varied warehouse conditions (temperature, noise levels).
  • Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform warehouse tasks.
