We are looking for a person with experience in commercial cleaning and also that drives the company car.

We provide office cleaning services throughout the Vancouver area, Burnaby, Richmond and Tri-Cities Area.

The individuals selected must be able to work on their own with minimal supervision or direction.

The ability to follow a written schedule or duty list is necessary.

Possible interaction with our clients requires a friendly, polite, and professional attitude.

The Position

  • Part-time cleaning job: 5 days per week Monday-Friday with rotational Saturday shifts.
  • You will meet at the Mayan Cleaning office at 6 PM each day and you will work until midnight 6 hours per day
  • Fully paid training in house cleaning and housekeeping will be provided. This job is suitable for cleaners of all experience levels.
  • Uniforms and all cleaning materials are provided
  • Company car is provided

Job Requirements

  • Physically fit

  • Background check is required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Effective communication and leadership skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

*Drive company's car

* Residential/Housekeeping experience of 6 months or more is a definite asset

* Empty garbage and replace liners

* Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, and counters

* Clean mirrors and glass windows,

* Replace supplies. Towels, tissue, hand soap, remove sanitary napkins

* Dust office furniture, counters, filing cabinets

* Spot clean walls, partitions

* Vacuum and sweep hard surfaces

* Wet mop floors resilient floors.esponsibilities:

- Perform routine cleaning tasks in an office environment

- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors

- Empty trash bins and replace liners

- Clean and sanitize restrooms and break rooms

- Dust and wipe down surfaces

- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies

- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning chemicals

- Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in industrial cleaning or as a porter is preferred

- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment

- Ability to work independently and efficiently

- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks

- Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors

Note: This position may require occasional lifting of heavy objects and working in different areas of the facility.
