Night Shift Housekeeping House Person

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, responsibilities and essential job functions include but not limited to the following:

  • Maintaining cleanliness of all public areas inside & outside of the Hotel
  • Having a positive attitude, friendly manner and good, clear communication skills with guests and staff
  • Having the ability to work efficiently on your own
  • Clean and check towels in swimming pool & change rooms & exercise room, guest laundry room daily
  • Clean public washrooms by restaurant daily
  • Clean staff washrooms daily
  • Polish elevator daily
  • Vacuum public areas, guest floor hallways and lobby
  • Dust furniture, chair rails, counters in lobby
  • Empty garbage in offices & vacuum
  • Receive and deliver linen to all floors, daily
  • Clean windows in pool and lobby areas
  • Removing all garbage/ recycling from all guest floors, offices and housekeeping areas
  • Assist and comply with guest and or management requests in timely manner
  • Advise Supervisor of any safety concerns that require immediate attention.

Qualifications:

  • Previous houseman experience an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Ability to work as part of a team with minimum supervision
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs

Physical Aspects of position (include but are not limited to):

  • constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • ability to push up to 100 lbs

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Holidays
  • Evening shift
  • Weekends
  • Weekdays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
