Medical Receptionist

We are looking to employ an energetic and friendly medical receptionist at Insight Medical Centre.
The ideal candidate would need to have excellent attention to detail, good written spelling and grammar, comfort with computers and fast typing speed. It is a fast-paced environment. The needs of the clinic are ever changing and adaptability is a must to help the team thrive.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Welcoming patients upon arrival and ensuring they complete necessary forms and documentation
- Coordinating patient appointments, follow-ups, and managing calendars for doctors and healthcare staff
- Handling incoming calls, providing information, transferring calls, and taking messages
- Collecting payments and verifying insurance details
- Maintaining patient records in a confidential manner
- Keeping exam rooms and work area clean and tidy
Requirements:
- Ability to work as part of the team and willingness to adapt to the changing needs of the clinic
- Pleasant personality, professionalism and excellent customer service skills are essential
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
- Excellent computer skills
Hours: hours per week
Salary: $18-22 dollars per hour depending on qualifications and experience
