You are a Project Manager with 5–20 years of experience in general contracting and water/wastewater infrastructure, in a general contractor role, looking to join an established company where processes and protocols are in place.

The Role
This position is responsible for providing overall direction of assigned projects and responsibility for the overall project performance including costs, schedule and quality assurance. This position involves subcontract negotiations, liaison with owners, engineers, and sub-trades, and management of the technical and financial aspects of the contract. You will be the front-line CANA contact with consultants and the Owner and will be responsible for promoting and projecting the CANA image of efficiency, quality, and technical competence and fair management of trades and suppliers.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or Diploma in Architectural Technology. (Equivalencies will be considered)
  • Over 5 years of progressive experience in the construction industry as a Project Manager, overseeing increasingly complex and large-scale projects with a specialized focus on water and wastewater infrastructure.
  • Proven expertise in leading the planning, execution, and delivery of water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and pipeline installations from inception to completion.
  • Comprehensive understanding of water and wastewater systems, including materials, specifications, regulatory standards, and construction methodologies, ensuring projects meet performance, safety, and quality benchmarks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills
