Position Overview:

We're looking for a Junior Carpenter who is eager to learn, grow, and develop into a Lead Carpenter. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of carpentry experience, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to take direction while continuously improving their skills. We work throughout the winter so must be willing to work in our typical Winnipeg winter elements.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with building residential decks, sunrooms, pergolas, and other outdoor structures
  • Support lead carpenters with framing, cutting, measuring, and installation tasks
  • Safely operate hand and power tools
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow safety guidelines and company standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of carpentry or construction experience
  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
  • Familiar with common carpentry tools and materials
  • Reliable transportation to job sites around Winnipeg
  • Positive attitude, motivated to learn, and a team player

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
