**About the Role**

**What You'll Do**
- Perform carpentry tasks, including framing, installation, trim, and finishing work for residential projects
- Accurately read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and measurements
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and equipment with precision and care
- Ensure projects meet Oaken's high standards of safety, quality, and craftsmanship
- Collaborate with project managers, trades, and apprentices to keep projects on schedule
- Identify potential challenges on-site and propose effective, practical solutions
- Mentor and guide apprentices and junior carpenters, fostering growth and accountability
- Uphold Oaken's reputation for reliability, professionalism, and detailed execution

**What You Bring**
- Proven 2+ years of professional carpentry experience in residential construction
- Solid understanding of carpentry methods, tools, and materials
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with mínimal supervision
- Team player who communicates effectively and works well under pressure
- A _God given talent_ for craftsmanship, precision, and problem-solving
- Attention to detail, pride in workmanship, and accountability for results
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site work
