About the position
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Production Planner is responsible for collaborating with operations to schedule and coordinate the production of materials. If you are looking for a challenging role in a team orientated environment this is the job for you
What you'll do:
- Manage the Univar produced/packaged product portfolio for the Toronto locations to schedule timely production of materials to maintain stock levels and meet customer requirements
- Analyze options to optimize production schedule and prevent service level failures
- Review out of stock situations regarding production materials and efficiently provide options to internal stakeholders to remedy situation
- Assist in identifying and providing solutions for aged, quarantined, or off spec material
- Various projects as required
What you'll need:
- Post-secondary degree
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in MS office applications
- SAP software experience preferred
