Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a production schedule based on demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory levels.
  • Determine the production capacity required to meet demand and ensure that resources are allocated appropriately.
  • Generate and manage work orders, production BOM and material master data in system.
  • Detect and resolve production issues with manufacture engineers and production team leads in time.
  • Collaborate with material planner to ensure that the required raw materials and other resources are available at the right time and in the right quantities to meet the production schedule.
  • Monitor WIP material supply flow and identifying any shortages or bottlenecks in usage based on the production scheduling.
  • Track production performance and identifying any issues or delays and taking appropriate action to ensure production stays on schedule.
  • Address and resolve any quality issues impacting production.
  • Update and maintain production status report and shared dashboard in real time.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve production processes with manufacturing engineers to improve production efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work areas using all PPE and following all safety practices
  • Ensure Occupational Health and Safety compliance with health and safety laws and regulations

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in production planning or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with production scheduling software and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) accreditation or other relevant certification is advantageous.
  • Proven electrical or mechanical manufacturing work experience is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
