Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, with a strong focus on baking and cake decorating. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, ensuring quality and presentation meet our high standards. You will also play a key role in providing excellent customer service and contributing to a positive kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a wide range of products including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
  • Decorate cakes and other baked goods with creativity and attention to detail.
  • Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Assist with inventory management by packaging baked goods appropriately for sale.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and catering staff to ensure efficient operations during busy periods.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
  • Strong skills in food preparation and handling, particularly in baking techniques.
  • Experience in cake decorating is highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends as needed.
  • A passion for baking and creating delicious products that delight customers.
