Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled field service mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in the repair and maintenance of various types of construction equipment, including but not limited to dozers, excavators, dump trucks, and loaders.

You will be joining an established team that includes other mechanics and a shop manager. This position will include field work and shop work.

Duties

  • Inspect and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, etc.).
  • Perform preventive maintenance such as oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and lubrication.
  • Repair or replace faulty parts including engines, transmissions, differentials, hydraulic pumps, cylinders, and hoses.
  • Troubleshoot electronic control systems using diagnostic tools and software.
  • Adjust and calibrate machine components to ensure proper performance.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
  • Valid drivers license
  • Valid red seal certification

Hours are 7-5 Monday to Friday - Must have your own transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
