We are seeking candidates for a full time Meat Cutter position. The ideal candidate would possess 2-3 years' experience cutting meat. In this role you will:

• Responsible to cut meat in compliance with the store's cutting standards
• Responsible to receive meat and check invoices ensuring quantity is accurate and quality of product meets with store standards
• Ensure all meat is stored on trays in an orderly fashion in preparation for wrapping
• Must wrap and price meat as required
• Adhere to strict cleaning schedule ensuring a high level of cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Must follow the store safety procedures at all times
• Promote and support superior customer relations in a professional manner, as well as with staff and management
• Responsible for scanning out product to control shrink factors
• Adhere to company standards and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years' experience cutting meat
• Extensive knowledge of the Meat Department and ability to cut meat according to store standards
• Ability to stand for length of the shift (up to 8 hours), and lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer and employee relations
• Ability and commitment to work as a member of a team and support the execution of team goals
• Ability to promote productivity
