As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and packaging various cuts of meat while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties

  • Perform meat cutting tasks including slicing, dicing, and trimming various cuts of meat according to specifications.
  • Prepare and package meat products for display and sale, ensuring attractive presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the meat preparation area, adhering to all food safety
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about meat products and offering cooking tips or recommendations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the kitchen environment.
  • Follow all health regulations and guidelines related to food handling and preparation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in meat cutting or butchering within the food industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control in food preparation.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays.
