Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level II Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental assisting and be proficient in various dental software systems. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care, assisting with all dental procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a sterile and efficient environment.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for various dental procedures.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using abeldent software systems.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow as a dental receptionist when required.
- Support all dental procedures treatments by preparing necessary tools and materials.
- Collaborate with pediatric patients to create a comfortable experience during their visits.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental technology.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant.
- Proficiency in Abeldent software systems is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Certification in Dental Assisting is required; additional certifications in relevant areas are advantageous.
