Job Title: Concierge Security Officer

Job Description:

We are seeking highly trained and professional Concierge Security Officers to join our elite security team. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in both tactical security response and high-end customer service. As a Concierge Security Officer, you will be the first point of contact for residents, guests, or tenants while also serving as a vigilant protector of the premises.

You will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, handling incidents with discretion and professionalism, and providing a premium-level experience to everyone you interact with.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized access and protect people and property.
  • Serve as a professional concierge by assisting residents, guests, or clients with inquiries and access.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations including medical incidents, security breaches, or suspicious behavior.
  • Operate surveillance systems, access control panels, and communication equipment proficiently.
  • Conduct risk assessments and promptly report security vulnerabilities or unusual activities.
  • Enforce building policies and verify identification or access authorization as required.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports and activity logs.
  • Coordinate with emergency services when necessary, including police, fire, and EMS.
  • Participate in ongoing training, drills, and physical readiness assessments.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in security, military, or law enforcement highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of condo control, security operations, access control, and emergency response procedures.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; customer-service oriented.
  • Physically capable of patrolling, standing for long periods, and responding rapidly to incidents.
  • Must hold or be eligible for applicable security licenses and certifications (e.g., guard card, CPR/First Aid, etc.).
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or training in first aid/CPR and defensive tactics.
  • Familiarity with residential or commercial concierge security protocols.
  • Experience with de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution.
  • Working knowledge of surveillance technologies and visitor management systems.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  • Concierge Security: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Security Guard Licence (preferred)
