It is the foundation of The Memorial Experience.Summary:Functions as Senior Director - MPC Operations and Business Office including but not limited to each clinic's management and service line operations, including auxiliary services (Laboratory, HIM, Care Management) production and efficiency. Directs the department's activities and resources to ensure alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the organization.Responsibilities:Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the reporting departments operate in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.Aim to improve the health of the entire population served and to reduce health disparity among patients served.Leads daily divisional operations for all support departments, which includes practice management, finance, lab support services, medical records, Manage Care and governmental contracting, patient satisfaction, event planning for fundraising, environmental services and maintenance including licensing. Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.Ensure the programs support services and workflows for population health, value base, and risk contracts.Develop and maintain positive relationship with internal and external stakeholders (Manage Care companies, Federal, State, and local Governmental entities).Identifies the contracting of managed care, Medicaid and Medicare insurances for Memorial Primary Care (MPC) and work to credentialing and link providers to bill for services rendered.Manage contract reporting requirements, and maintains working relationship with Florida Department of Health, Broward County, Health Foundation of South Florida and other grantor representatives with regards to all contract funded programs.Plans, develops and implements programs and/or operations in close liaison with the Memorial Healthcare System (MHS) to insure that all patients presenting themselves or referred for Primary Care are provided with the treatment and/or diagnostic services and that those patients receive proper disposition for their particular needs.Develop strategies to ensure financial goals are achieved for financial share savings.Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, financial and budget plans, risk, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.Competencies:Education and Certification Requirements:Masters (Required)Fingerprint Screen (FINGERPRNT) - Florida Department of Childrens & Family (DCF)Additional Job Information:Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
