Job Summary

MUST HAVE A CLEAN DRIVER'S RECORD AND BE INSURABLE. MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN THIS LINE OF WORK. We are seeking a dedicated, skilled and experienced 40 tonne knuckle boom picker Truck Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting concrete forms efficiently to various locations in Edmonton and surrounding area and loading and unloading concrete form cages.

Duties

  • Safely operate picker truck to designated locations in Edmonton and area. Many areas have limited space due to residential alleys and infill locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and functionality.
  • operate knuckle boom picker to safely and efficiently load and unload concrete form cages, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
  • Communicate effectively with employer and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies regarding safety and conduct.
  • Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as needed.
  • Driver responsible for any driving infractions/tickets that may be incurred.

Requirements

  • Valid class 3 drivers license is required.
  • Must be insurable
  • Must have clean drivers abstract
  • Must have prior experience operating knuckle boom picker
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
  • Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
