Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food service industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, our growing catering division and ensure that all food is prepared safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
  • Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients.
  • Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Follow proper sanitation procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience (3-5 years) in the food industry or restaurant setting is required.
  • Must be Canadian, based in the Bow Valley and have a car.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
